My game says I'm over 40% complete and I've seen zero indication there are acts in the game.
So I'm excited to know I have so much left to play, but also astounded I have so much left to play.

The lavender haze period is starting to fade with me. There's far too much item collection/fetch quests and the Taskmaster Challenges are a major disappoint to me. The hideouts/warehouses are the best of the map clearing tasks by far.
Traversal is amazing in the game still, but outside of that I find the level of enjoyment mixed. The narrative has shown flashes of greatness and featured some truly great character moments, but at times the pacing feels off. This is mainly due to much of the "filler" details of the narrative to be delivered via cellphone calls and voicemails. Sometimes these parts get lost in the shuffle and commotion of swinging around the city and beating up Demons.
The combat, while a little bit flat and shallow, is mesmerizing and fun. It strikes a rich balance between cinematic flair and mash-em, beat-em ups. I don't typically rely on gadgets unless I need to stick enemies to a wall, but part of this is because the gadget wheel is a little clunky to me. It's not terribly seamless or easy to manage while in the throes of an encounter.
The premise is influenced heavily by Rocksteady's Arkham series and rightly so, but the final product reminds me a lot of Infamous' Second Son. To me the game is more along the 7.5-8 range.

You get trophy's for each act you have beaten and it has a number in the trophy symbol. I think it took me around 20 hours to beat the game but that was just the story did like zero side stuff. Now I am going to go back and beat the game again but do side stuff. Hopefully I can start in the next few days have a lot of home work to do.Comment

Not really a surprise if it was a ps5 game. Most likely a sequel for the game at best comes out late 2020 as that would be about 2 years I think it will be some time 2021 though and ps5 most likely will come out around late 2020. With how long it should take to make a sequel and with how long it should be un till ps5 Sony should be in great shape to have Horizon 2 be a launch ps5 game and a spiderman sequel some time in like the first full year of ps5 being out. It took just under 4 years to make this game and now with having the foundation built for the game and not having to like bulid from scratch I dont see why a sequel cant be made in 3 years.Last edited by Smallville102001; 09-19-2018, 09:54 AM.Comment

So all the random crime just disappeared for me. Wasn’t long ago that it felt like there was so much popping up, now it’s just gone. Is it just a part of the game/story where it stops for a while and comes back or what? Do you run out where if you stop too many it’s done and that’s that? Would kind of suck if that’s the case.Comment

Holy ****. **** really escalates in this game. It's somehow brought back some of that initial excitement and feels like a city with super villains should feel. I have to say this escalation is something I never felt was adequately presented in Arkham Knight (or City for that matter).

#SpiderManPS4 has managed to sell 3.3M copies in its first 3 days, generating a revenue of roughly $198m which is above the $117m opening weekend box office of Homecoming
This makes it the officially fastest selling PlayStation exclusive of all time

I was just going to post that so it passed GOW by 200000 in its first 3 days.
Going to be very interesting what the games sales numbers are after the holiday's and what the over all ps4 consoles sales are after the holiday's to.
