    Rhome Total War?

Can someone with the game give more impressions and a quick summary of what all the game allows you to do?

    Thanks

        Re: Rome Total War?

There are basically 2 types of gameplay in the game

        1. Strategic map, much like Civilization games. Have to build cities, with barracks, markets, ports, governors, military things. All sorts of stuff. You'll need to build up your cities, establish a good economy with trade to get money coming in. You also have to build up an army if you want to do missions for "The Senate" or if you want to defend or expand your cities.

Part of this strategy is diplomacy, which is VERY well done in this game. You set up trade, make war, make peace etc.

The interface is very clean and easy to use.

        2. Battles. You don't HAVE to, but you can fight battles on a 3D battlefield, taking control of your armies and trying to use them in the best way possible.

There is a lot more to it. I'm only getting started. Both gameplay types are very very fun.

        Checkout the demo!
