Operation Flashpoint...kind of old (2001) but has an expansion pack which updates the graphics somewhat. The gameplay is where it's at in this game, it's the shiz. There's tons of mods and with a good rig you can get a pretty looking game if that's your thing. The game is very realistic so don't expect to bunny hop with two M16's and take several shots to the torso and still live.
BTW, the game's engine was used to create VBS, a trainer for the U.S. Marines, if that gives you any idea of what your looking at...Comment

Operation Flashpoint...kind of old (2001) but has an expansion pack which updates the graphics somewhat. The gameplay is where it's at in this game, it's the shiz. There's tons of mods and with a good rig you can get a pretty looking game if that's your thing. Training is offline (and you should do that before going online) and the missions are online. I have a firewall too and I could get on fine.

Well I set up an account, but everytime I try to log in it says "connecting" the goes to "timed out" and doesnt connect. Wierd. I have DSL so the speed isnt the problem.Comment
