Best Online Shooter?

What's currently some of the best Shooters out there to play? I'm looking for a good shooter to play or a good MMOG. I was playing Planetside here lately, but I got tired of it after awhile. Any suggestions?

Im with dude, it's hard to fine a good one. But splinter cell is pretty cool online. Socom 2 is good too.

or just wait till next week and bust out Halo2

Halo 2 should be a monster.

If you're into more realistic, military-based shooters, you can't beat the Tom Clancy line of games on Xbox Live -- Ghost Recon, Ghost Recon Island Thunder, Rainbow Six 3 and Rainbow Six Black Arrow.

Ghost Recon 2 is out in two weeks.

Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow isn't really a shooter; it's more of a stealth game. Plus I found it terribly disappointing on Xbox Live. It was more of a map-memorizing game than a shooter or stealth game.

A lot of people enjoy Counter-Strike, which is a very fast-paced, twitch urban military shooter. Not my cup of tea, but a lot of people dig it.

SOCOM 2 IS THE GREATEST.

If you have a PS2, SOCOM 2 is a MUST! Make sure you get a headset. It's really REALLY good.

Also if you have a USB keyboard, that'll help also, but far from mandatory.

Ghost Recon Island Thunder was the 1st shooter i really enjoyed...Rented it last weekend and had a blast...can't wait for the second edition.

I can only speak on the Rainbow Six series...but I love Black Arrow..I play it all the time since it came out months ago.

From what I've played of Socom 2, which wasn't a whole lot, it took a big step back from Socom 1.

RTCW is a fun game, but I doubt anyone really plays it anymore. Rainbow Six is really good, but next week Halo 2 will probably blow everything else out of the water.

sounds like your on pc. battlefield vietnam and ut 2004 are supposed to be very good.
