WOW your going at 7? Thats pretty damn earily.

That's REALLY early, but probably "smart"(at least smart in the sense that they will be home by 12:15 playing Halo 2). The lines at some of these stores are going to be ridiculous, I wouldn't be surprised if some people are still in line around 1:30-2:00. Especially depending on the location of the store, any store that's the only one in the town/city will be packed or a store right next to a college will be just crazy.

I wouldn't think about getting there that early, but if all you are going to be doing from 7 till midnight is playing Halo 1 with friends, you might as well drag it all out in front of the store and at least be saving your spot in line at the same time.

well i figured it's not the early since the vikings game will last from about 8-11 so I figure it as only being in line about 2 hours and we can just play halo or something the fill that time quickly

True...it could be out by 1215..my city isnt that huge, we have a EB as well as a gamecrazy...so Im hoping I can get out by 12:45 at the latest

I'm going to the Halo 2 Midnight Madness sale GameRush is having here. Not very many pre-orders at this store, had it pre-ordered at EBGames inside the mall in Athens, GA. But they had over 600 pre-orders, compared to 96 at this GameRush.

Plus GameRush will be giving out freebies, gotta love the freebies.

Oh, and I'll also be taking Tuesday off, just using one of my leftover vacation days.

When GTA came out Babbages had 40 people in line from 6:30. I went in at 9:30 and they were still waiting for the game to show up. I went upstairs to an empty EB and grabbed a copy.

Im hoping its the same for Halo 2.

When GTA came out Babbages had 40 people in line from 6:30. I went in at 9:30 and they were still waiting for the game to show up. I went upstairs to an empty EB and grabbed a copy.

Im hoping its the same for Halo 2.

Well since my EBs say they exceeded their pre-orders I'll be heading to Media Play (who claims they will stay open at Midnight). If the line takes longer than an hour I might be out of there, because I have to get up at 6:30 the next morning for school. I was going to take the day off, but my parents are gone and she school gives me so much **** when I miss school and the note is not from my parents. I know some of those crazies, and I will take a picture of them if I see them, because I still cant believe anybody would dress up like a little kid, it isnt Halloween any more.

Damn, everybody is saying they had like 600 pre-orders, my local EB had over 2000, and I live on the border of sylvania and toledo (not as big as a lot of the cities a lot of you seem to be from).

I'm coming home from school Monday and I'm going to fall asleep. I'll wake up at around 11 PM and I'll go get it. (Thankfully the Gamestop I preordered it from will have a normal line for those who just preordered it, and a VIP line for those of us who paid for it in full. The VIP people just go in, show the receipt, and get the game.) Then I'll go home and play til about 6:15 or 6:30, then I'll go to school and not pay attention at all.
