    EQII and WoW

    both just got release dates withing the last week and a half. EQ comes out the 8th and WoW the 23rd.

    Are there any OSers out there that plan on playing either? I enjoy a good MMORPG and have a subscription to one always running. I played EQOA (ps2)for a year and a half, then moved over to FFXI (ps2). I upgraded my PC recently so I've been playing CoH but pretty much as a stopgap before WoW and EQ II.

    Right now I'm leaning towards WoW because I know if I dont like it that by having played EQOA I could pretty easily slide on over to EQII since I'm familiar with the world, classes and game mechanics.

    So which if any are you guys gonna try? I wouldn't mind meeting up in game if people plan on getting one or another at release. Release is always the most fun and you can usually meet some cool people those first few days/weeks.

      I haven't played wow but I did beta test EQ 2 and it is going to be a sweet game. I can't wait till next week.. You really need a great system to run EQ 2 . EQ 2 played like EQ on steroids.. everything looks and plays great .. It is very imersive ...

              I'm going with EQ2. Between that and Halo 2 i'm in gaming heaven.

                  I'm going with EQ2. Between that and Halo 2 i'm in gaming heaven.

                              Back on topic, I won't play either of them since I will never give my credit card number on the net. It sucks because I played every single made by Blizzard

                                      My friend has been playing the open beta for WoW.. he says its the biggest MMORPG map he has ever seen.. he was a huge EQ1 fan and he just raves about WoW.
