I will not be picking up Halo 2 because when I played the orignal Halo game it was alright but nothing great. I could put the game down and feel like I was missing nothing. I was wondering if anyone else feels the same way about Halo as me. This is just my opinion and not an attack on the Halo players.

You're not giving a good enough explanation to why you dont like the game for anyone to agree with you.
I did'nt care much for Halo myslef, in fact, its not my holy grail as it is to many other ppl. I'm just not into FPS with monsters/aliens and fictional weapons and vehicles. But you gotta give Halo the benefit of the doubt. It does things better than most FPS.
Plus, you may have or have'nt played the multiplayer mode of Halo. IMO, I think the higher majority of ppl only brought this game for multiplayer. I know I'm one of them. You have'nt experienced Online gaming to its fullest until you played Halo multiplayer.
Maybe 4 months ago, I could of cared less about Halo until I played a nice MP game with friends and then I saw what the big fuss was about. Everything from the weaponry to the vehicles to the maps were a blast to play with friends. Even the story mode missions were better in co-op.
I think its a combination of stellar graphics, great controls, intuitive mission structure and some of the best AI in video gaming that makes Halo such a masterpiece. You can only get 1 or 2 of the above from most FPS. Halo has the total package and then some.
It takes awhile to really see it, because I felt the same as you earlier this year. But get a couple of friends or XBox Live and you will see why this game is so highly anticipated.http://neverfollow.biz (Independent Music Group) -

I'm not really a high on first person shooters but I loved Halo. I traded in my PS2 a couple of years ago for a brand new XBox and Halo came with it. I don't think I touched another game for weeks when I started playing it. Even my wife was intrigued with the story line and music.
Now if only someone would lend me $70.00 so I can buy Halo2 I'd be all set.Comment
