    New PS2 vs. Old PS2.....

Just wondering if anybody had the new one and wondering if it was worth it. I plan on selling my old one back and getting a credit at EB or somewhere like that.

I have it .... "worth" depends on your priorities.

    - No HDD possibility.
    - The top loading doesn't feel as nice as the disc tray

    + Quiet
    + Small
+ Seems overall a better engineered product.

The no HDD doesn't bother me. I'm looking at this as the ps2 I'm going to keep for a long time (i.e., Nintendo, SNES, etc). As long as there are no glaring differences or mistakes, I think I'm going to try to trade the old one in. Anybody heard of any trade-in opportunities, at EB or Gamestop/Babbages?

        Thanks for the quick response.

you should have done it last month at EB. Last month they were giving away $100 for a working ps2, and now they're only giving $70.
