I believe I read somthing like that over in the 8-page review at IGN.com You should go check it out. In-depth review plus alot of vids (campaign and multi-p).

Yes, i think that you can. You mean like, you and your buddy playing in the same game on live, from the same xbox. Right?

You can't play ranked, matchmaking games with two people on one xbox. If you hit in another player they will only show up as (your XBL tag) and have a little picture next to it indicating that it's a guest of your's. You can play arranged games with friends, but you can't use any of the optimatch options. So if you try it, make sure you have someone else you know you can play against because you can't just search for games to play if you have a guest with you.

It's my understanding that you can only use one gamertag at a time on XBox.. I could be wrong though.
