So last night I finally had a chance to get on the test servers (aka the Xbox patch) and all I can say is WOW! There is so many improvements that I really can't begin to get into all of them but I did a short write up last night on my thoughts when I was done. I'll just say, you Xbox boys are in for a treat in a couple weeks if they can hopefully get these servers figured out!!

Pros:

• New UI is clean but needs some slight tweaks. Remove the blurry box behind the lower hud items or change it. New font is clean and neat.
• Killcam is fantastic addition but will surely need some optimizing. It's currently experiencing a lot of the same issues we use to get with the old team viewer feed (Not accurate information where they really are aiming)
• New sound effects all sound great to me. Grenades are different and kind of throwing me off a little but it might just take some time to get use to.
• New smoke effect is useful
• Weight of vehicles is nice, again it will take some getting use to, but I'm liking it.
• I'm not sure if the ragdolls have been adjusted but they looked good/better
• Shadows for the buildings on the map is nice effect
• Lower camera angle for vehicles & laying down is a nice change. Less abusive & more connected feeling.
• Slight map changes here and there

Cons:

• Map way to unsaturated, looks almost black and white. New white marker doesn't pop and stand out
• Mini-map getting really low frame rate, jerky in plane
• Mini-map looks black and white, not really feeling it
• Something is off with the graphics, very blurry (AA is broken, turn to very low to fix this issue)

Game Breakers:

• Servers, right now the #1 problem with PUBG on both live and test is server performance. It's worse on the test server, but both are a rubberbanding, microstuttering, mess.
• Video Card optimization, while it has improved since the early beta release, it's still a long way off from feeling smooth as other similar titles (Fortnite & H1Z1). It's barely hanging on the edge of game breaking and working it's way out, but still needs heavy focus.

Weird side note - I played many games back to back tonight and they all played like uttercrap on the test server. Randomly the game threw me into a lobby, no one had clothes, and all the doors in the world were open from the start. Here is the weird part, it was BUTTERY SMOOTH!!! I'm not sure what would have caused this, but it was amazing & I couldn't have been the only one in this lobby experiencing it.

Nothing special here, just a quick 4 kill beginning in first person solos.

On the test server I picked up a 8 kill solo win, felt sooo good! Ghillie suit with M24 is a beautiful combo, 5 of my kills came via it.

Funny thing was how I got the M24, I was driving just towards the circle and see red smoke from a drop so I figure I'll make an attempt at looting it, as I'm closing in on the crate, a guy in full ghillie just stands up out the grass dead in my way. I plow into him, sending him flying 20 feet. What bad luck, he thought he was hiding in the grass and out of no where a buggy is headed right where he is laying lol

New map is nice but might be a little to spread out and dense with cover. It's very hard to get high kill games. My first 3 games I went 2nd, 5th, and a win!

It goes live at midnight EST last time I checked. And it's a game preview. You can't buy it until it's live.

I saw 9:00 Pacific time and am a moron so yeah midnight. Still wouldn’t mind getting it purchased and preloaded before it goes live.

I received my preorder code from BB and have it downloaded. I won't be able to play until after the kids are in bed. Can't wait to give this a go.
