Need For Speed Underground 2 (review inside)

Oh yeah!

THIS is the game I'm stoked about.... GTA, Halo.... Puh-leese. Give me this racer where I can rice out a car anyday!

Anyone else looking forward to the game? Only two more days....

How much difference is there between NFSU and #2? How many different cars, and how much customizing is put into the new game? I didn't play the first one much, just a couple time with friends and didn't get to customize much or check out what types of cars were in there.

EDIT: I scanned through the review and it sounds awesome, but I'll get it (if it gets a good review from OSers) because the 05 Stang is in the game...at least I can live part of my fantasy.

I picked it up and made a brief post in the Racing forum.

It seems no one is into this game, and it's n amazingly good game.

I like everything about it, and the little things they implemented are sweet.

When you change muffler tips, the car sounds differently, etc. It's a very solid game, and is a ton of fun.

I highly recommend picking this one up, especially if you enjoyed the first.

Also, your car is going to suck and be slow initially, so I recommend doing two races in your friends car when the game first starts. It will allow you to get a sense of how fast the cars can go and also lets you get some speed early one..

This game was released last night (Monday) at EB. I played until about 3:00 AM. Love it. No complaints, and definitely looking forward to playing more.

I went on ahead a bought the game this afternoon after I got off from work. Got home, played the game from around 6:30 to 9:30 and I'm totally addicted. I didn't play the first one much, so I guess it may be different to those who had NFSU #1. At first I was having a little trouble driving around w/o crashing into railguards, buildings, etc, but after about 10 minutes I became comfortable with the controls. I switched it to manual transmission just for the hell of it. So far it seems to be a deep, deep racing game and its soo awesome.
