Re: Killzone
Haven't picked it up yet but I love the demo. Graphics are the best I've ever seen in a ps2 FPS and be the best graphics possible on the system. Enemy and squad member AI isn't that good...at least not consistently but there will be moments where the enemy AI is ultra-smart and eerily realistic. I have yet to see better re-load animations in an FPS. The overall atmosphere is gritty and rugged and it really immerses you in the game. I can't wait to pick up the finished version.Last edited by Kanobi; 11-16-2004, 04:58 PM. -

Re: Killzone
played the beta thanks Sony!!! I had fun but there was a ton and I mean a ton of bugs that needed working out. Controls left something to be desired but maybe the cleaned it up. I might rent it to see how they made some changes.http://flotn.blogspot.com

Re: Killzone
I played it for a few days and I'd say it's an average shooter. There are some framerate, graphics, AI, and glitch issues that really bring the game down. The worst part is, the game is WAY too linear, almost like the devs are holding your hand through the game. It's like you can't go anywhere to explore and your stuck on the intended path.
I'd rent it only. Just my opinion though.Comment

Re: Killzone
You should read the review on ign. Alot of people were mad about the review because they thought the game would be good, but it looks like another state of emergency.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
