I haven't bought a Call of Duty game in a while but this looks like Saving Private Ryan the video game.

I haven't played a game like this since the Medal of Honor series on PS1 and PS2. This is a day one buy for me as well.

I don't have time to play every FPS so I made a decision a long time ago to skip the Battlefields and stick to the COD's. I wasn't sure if I was ready to head back to WWII, but this looks awesome.

Watched tons of COD WW2 multiplayer gameplay today, war mode as well.

I was hoping it would be less traditional cod like (movement, ttk wise).

We'll see, I'm in and I'll still be playing the beta. These YT videos are a good reference but I need to play it myself.

My enthusiasm has been quite tempered by the devs decision to remoze the Nazis from the game and include African-American and women fighting for the Germans. I think this has gone back to rental mode.
