I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(

Re: Call Of Duty WWII
He basically reiterates what I've been saying. Game just feels old. This would've been a decent cod... if it came out 10 years ago.
This game is a bad joke.

Re: Call Of Duty WWII
I don't think think it's as bad as some have said. But it's also not great, so far. Full release might be better. At least I can say I'm no longer having to shoot people as they jump on trampolines.

Re: Call Of Duty WWII
Now, I can't believe I'm saying this but I think I'm getting to the point where I may be getting too old for COD. that and the fact that COD games now are just terribly designed. Treyarch's version of COD is the only one I like anymore. I really like Black ops 3 and I have had the game since I got my PS4 last August but lately even after half an hour of playing I get a little headache and have to stop.
I'm not interested in World War II games but I did want to give this one a try at least. I hated the First World at War. Like everyone has mentioned the Time to Kill it's just absurd. Two shots and you're dead but I unload a full clip and magically they stay alive. It's like everyone else is on a T1 connection and I'm on dial-up (no I'm not really on dial-up).
My main thing though is the maps. Although I do like the Gibraltar map, all the maps are the typical COD maps. 3-4 ways to get into every building or area. Funnel everyone to the long hallways and/or alleyways. Kill someone and they will spawn right behind you for the Revenge kill. Rinse, repeat. Same ****, different toilet.
Sorry I'm not good enough to run around like a chicken with my head cut off and have my head on a swivel and kill people with my SMG from long distances. I thought I would never say this but Call of Duty multiplayer needs a makeover in a big way.
Now to answer the question I quoted, like I said before I'm not into the World War II era stuff but if the story is good I'll GameFly it and play it or something. I'll be skipping Call of Duty for the second year in a row. I'll pick up Modern Warfare remastered and try to get my jollies out of that lol.

This game wouldn't have been decent 10 years ago, it still would've sucked.
I really enjoyed MW3 & BO2Comment

First off let me say thank you again to Caniac for the beta code.

Re: Call Of Duty WWII
Agree with everyone. Played the beta and just did not feel that into it. COD used to be a game that I picked up and played for hours at a time, especially on a beta release with limited time.
I canceled my preorder of the game. I much prefer rainbow 6 siege and titanfall for FPS.Comment

Re: Call Of Duty WWII
Sniping is complete nonsense in this game. Here are pics I took when I was killed by snipers. As you can see you don't even have to be on target as the hitbox's are so big. Also for it to be a one hit kill is ridiculous considering the area where he's hitting me. I was also full health."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Are you new to call of duty games? This shouldn't be a surprise for anyone familiar with the franchise lol.

Re: Call Of Duty WWII
No COD 3 on the PS3 was my first online COD. Also played them on the PS2 when the franchise first started. I'm just showing how silly & outdated there online system is. It really does needs an overhaul."If you don't have anything good to say, say it often"- Ed the sockComment

Re: Call Of Duty WWII
They reward quickscoping, by increasing the hit marker radius. It's utter nonsense. I would love nothing more than for them to add a half second delay from when you aim down the scope to when you can fire. That would eliminate quickscoping. But all the kids that quickscope would bitch and moan, so I don't see it ever happening. As it stands, quickscoping is glitching and CoD enables them to do so.
War mode is legit and addicting though.
To me this is where COD has fallen off the most is in the actual maps and map design. I'm playing cod4 almost every other day right now and they are mostly just so well balanced and cater to any play style. Newer cod maps are just strange and often don't make intuitive sense or have strange 'paths' that are supposed to look natural but don't at all and function to ruin the experience. I'd rather they just drop a real world location in around the same surface area and call it a day.
Their 'designing' is terrible imo.Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.Comment
