Re: Ready or Not - The Successor to SWAT 4 ?
Saw this the other day. I hope they pull it off, though it is only 3 people lacking much experience. If the game plays as well as the trailer was done, I'll have a new favorite game. I just played Swat 4 two days ago.
I may be in the minority of people that would be moving from Swat 4 to this, but I am actually really interested in the competitive scene with this game. I love Rainbow, it's my go to game right now, but I could do with less of the super hero operators. Give me a more serious toned, slower pace game with the same general competitive vision and I would be over the moon.Last edited by canes21; 05-09-2017, 05:46 PM.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”

So I guess they are going for a dark mature theme? Damn...GT: Event Horizon 0Comment

I'd enjoy a more slower paced breaching/swat type game. Played a bit of RB6 but that's a bit crazy with all the gadgets and everything, super hero-ish like someone mentioned. Doesn't feel like a real hostage type situation would go, but it's a fun competitive game.
Be cool to see more as they drop it.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

If it is like Swat 4 then it'll be darker than your average game. The guys making it answered some questions on the trailer post on Reddit and were talking about how Swat 4 is a huge influence and that where they are developing this independently they are going darker than most games because they don't have marketing people telling them no. He did mention that if they somehow picked up a publishing deal that they would try and keep it as dark as they could and would want to keep as much development freedom as possible. These guys have a vision, I just hope they are talented enough to create it because I love what they've set out to do.“No one is more hated than he who speaks the truth.”
