Re: Far Cry 5
Unfortunate. That’s the exact thing that I didn’t like about Far Cry 4. I’ll check this out when it’s in the bargain bin though. It does look great.Comment

Far Cry 5
Just found out today doing some research. I don’t get it at all. I’m out until price drop too. I thought they said they really worked on the coop this time. Why should I have to do all the story missions over again in my game if I play with a friend for a couple hours? Makes no sense to me.Comment

Re: Far Cry 5
I don't see how that kind of thing could work anyway. If you're jumping into someone else's game they aren't necessarily at the same place in the campaign as you are. It wouldn't make sense to have you completing missions/bases that you haven't gotten to yet.

It works fine with Borderlands. There is matchmaking where you can search current missions and you get a warning when you join somebody ahead of you story wise. Far Cry is open world. You could spend hours just doing side stuff. It sucks to have none of that count when you’re not the host.Comment

Re: Far Cry 5
Did FC3 and 4 have this see-through-walls thing as well? I don't like it. I'm ok with scouting an area, have enemies marked somehow, but I don't want to see their silhouette through walls. Or even better, after you scout an area, you see the number of enemies left (assuming you managed to scout and find all of them), instead of knowing exactly where they all are and what they are doing every second. My Specs:

CPU: Z80 @ 3.5 MHz
GPU: Monochrome display
RAM: 48 KB
OS: Sinclair BASICComment
