So I got the season pass mostly for Far Cry 3, one of my favorites of all time to play with the Mrs. younger brother. I dont see the multiplayer options. Am i missing something? Do I need to beat single player first? Or did they just not put the multiplayer in?

Just FC3 campaign.

Should of done your research bro. No multiplayer in Far Cry 3 dlc.

Its cool. Thanks for the info. I wasnt complaining or upset. Im happy to run the campaign, just makin sure I didnt somehow become oblivious if they had the multiplayer or not (its a distinct possibility i couldve been lol)

Patch 1.07 dropped and fixed the disappearing weapons and helicopters.

YES!!!!

Now time to finish off the campaign. In Jacob’s region now and 75% completed.

I guess I should try and finish this up, now. Been spending all of my time on MLB: The Show. The forced captures just made this game feel like a chore and I lost interest, even tho the map is absolutely beautiful. No video game should ever feel like a chore. It just sucks the fun right out of it. I hope they’ve learned a lesson from this one.

Yes. I hated the forced captures. Especially, since they basically should kill you for all the pain you've caused them.

Far Cry 5

Just beat the game. This has been the best Far Cry game I’ve played. Never played 3 through but I have the season pass thing so I’ll eventually play it.

I will say have helicopters and airplanes attack you all the time got super annoying. I wish they didn’t have so many air enemies.

I did just start the Vietnam dlc and it seems alright so far.

Admittedly, I didn’t like this game. Here’s why:

The story had so much promise; cults have fascinated me, from Jonestown to Heaven’s Gate. But there’s absolutely no context/believability as to how they obtained helicopters and military equipment, then shut off an entire county without the FBI or National Guard catching wind of it. I tried to factor in the suspension of believability, but I couldn’t after the first (and best) ten minutes of the game.

The story was okay until the ending. It seemed lazy and a bit rushed, to me. All that time building decent relationships with your fighting pals just gone to waste. The villains were okay, too, but in the past, Far Cry has made me connect with the villains in some shape or form. I couldn’t do that in 5, but maybe it was because I’d turned my brain off about halfway through.

Overall, this game underwhelmed me and I was mad at myself for dropping $80 on it. The gunplay, graphics, and side quests/activities saved me from completely trashing this game. If you enjoyed this game, more power to you.

Far Cry 5 was a disappointingly good 7.0/10 game. The gameplay and shooting mechanics are still excellent as always but the silent protagonist and character creation completely kills the story despite the strong antagonists. Add in the "forced drugged" scenes and the layout change compared to previous Far Cry games and for me, it was definitely disappointing. Still "good" due to the location, visuals, gameplay and audio but the story, characters and the changes to the game itself compared to previous Far Cry games left me disappointed.

Thankfully, by the time I finished Far Cry 5, God of War was days away so being disappointed with Far Cry 5 was forgiven but not forgotten. LOL.

I greatly enjoyed my Far Cry 5 experience. Each session I could play this game for hours, which is rare for me. When not playing it, I was thinking about it.

Just like every Far Cry, I regretted my final decision. I know what the other decision was and I know if I would have chosen it, I would have felt better.

It was hysterical the dialogue between Sharky and Hurk Jr.

I'm really confused. When I go to non-sports gaming, I'm only seeing 2 pages of threads and Far Cry 5 is not there so I started a new thread and someone posted a link to this thread. No idea why I can't see old posts? I even searched for Far Cry 5 and it found nothing. It's anything with a last post older than 2 month I don't have access to..

Anyways, I'm in the middle of this game and totally hooked. Haven't played any other Far Cry's except part of the fourth one.

Got 97% first time through.

Try checking the options at the bottom of the screen that lists the threads. Your "Show Posts From:" could be restricting what you see. Change that to a longer time period and the number of pages of threads you see should increase.

You still should have seen the thread pop up if you searched and made sure the Show Results as Threads option was selected. EDIT: I did just try searching and the thread didn't come up. It could be because the search terms are too short? I dunno.

100% The Nam DLC on Action Movie Mode. Really fun. I will go back to it and 100% on Survival mode.

On to The Mars DLC.

Between the DLC’s, the main single player campaign and Arcade mode I am getting my full moneys worth with Far Cry 5.

Agree... Games like FC really give me $ worth.
I still haven't decided on Spider-man yet. Mainly due to RDR2 coming next month and I feel (just from a few videos I've seen) the it seems pretty repetitive. Doesn't mean I wont cave and grab today though Lol
