    Advice on games

    Hi guys

Over the winter and spring I really got into the witcher 3 and skyrim. I was never really a fan of those types of games until them but was hooked.

Are there any other games you guys could suggest that are open world like them and take forever to complete.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated

Bro, TW3 set a new bar for the genre. You simply will not find anything better, imo. Fair warning there.

That said, if you haven't played the Soulsborne games (Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1-3, & Bloodborne), look to those next.

There's also the Fallout series (same devs as Skyrim). Most fans like New Vegas the best but FO4 on survival mode + mods + no HUD gets my vote.

Happy gaming. I probably just listed 8 of my top 20 all-time games.

Witcher 3 is the GOAT, so Neo is spot on with what he said. I'll suggest Horizon: Zero Dawn. The world is beautiful. The story is beautiful. Just a really awesome game and so much fun. I took my time and did everything and finished at a little over 110 hours, so you can sink a good amount of time into it.

Hi, all. I didn't want to make a new thread.

I'm looking for something strategical / tactical for the XBOX or something on the PC that doesn't require a lot of juice. Looking for a good multiplayer experience. Something Civilization like. My brother and I want to do some gaming of this variety on the weekends. FreeCiv has a lot of potential but it is just clunky and incomplete in the web based version. I don't know how to set up multiplayer for FreeCiv offline.

Divinity Original Sin on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 has couch co-op and online co-op and is tactical turn based RPG.

The Uncharted series on PS is a good one to try later on.

I just saw Sudden Strike 4 is coming out for console in August. It is a WWII RTS game and it looks great. It will have 3 campaigns with over 20 single player missions and a multi player online mode as well to battle against other human opponents.

I very well may pick this up. I love these kind of games.

Dragon age inquisition is rpg. Came out on the same time as witcher 3. Did you have season pass or complete edition for witcher 3 ? Heart of Stone and blood of wine is another 30 hours on top of the main game.it's only 30 $ on psn.
Dying light has rpg elements. It's was coop game of the year when it came out. Diablo 3 is awesome rpg. Community is one of the best. Player helping each other. A really good coop game too.

-The Mass Effect Trilogy if you like space opera.
-Fallout (as others said it's also made by Bethesda).
-Horizon: Zero Dawn - the most beautiful game I've ever played.
-Gothic Series - Very similar to Elder Scrolls in terms of gameplay

A few others could potentially fall into this category depending what kind of open world & combat you're into.

                    As many said:

                    Mass Effect Trilogy - PS3
                    Dead Space Trilogy - PS3
                    Red Dead Redemption - PS3/360
                    Fallout 4 - PS4
                    Horizon Zero Dawn - PS4

Can’t go wrong with those at all. I am eventually going to play Dragon Age 3, Fallout New Vegas, and Dishonored 1 and 2 as well as Deus Ex Mankind Divided.

If you like FPS with story and open world maps I highly recommend:

                    Far Cry 3 - PS3/360
                    Far Cry 4 - PS4
                    Far Cry Primal

                    Awesome sauce.

Lot’s of excellent story/action/rpg based open world games to explore.
