Finally finished New Order last month.
    Pre-ordered the collectors edition yesterday.

I am officially stoked beyond belief.

I've been really enjoying the marketing for this game lately.

There should be some deals on them right now. Probably even a bundle, too.

I started The Old Blood last night, but didn't get very far. I hope to run through it and be ready for next Friday.

I am so excited for next Friday. This game is going to sneak up on people. I am expecting glowing reviews and a phenomenal game.

I have not played "Old Blood", but "The New Order" was fantastic.

One more day. I've been playing through The Old Blood, but doubt I'll finish it before I start playing 2. It is certainly more challenging than The New Order early on.

I just hope it sells well.

                        ...

                        Game Informer - 9.75

The sequel, The New Colossus, trades the somber tone to become a tale of fury and uprising, and in doing so emerges as both one of the best first-person shooters and narrative-driven games I’ve ever played.
The New Colossus does not shy away from tough themes but, on the contrary, aggressively pursues them. The 14-hour campaign tackles racism, being complicit in cruelty, executions, child abuse, despair, patricide, the holocaust, white supremacy, and terrorism.

                        Polygon - 9

All of this messy, vibrant spirit exists around a game that’s pleasingly retro. Wolfenstein 2’s levels are large enough to provide different paths forward and reward exploration. It felt wonderful to fight through areas that rewarded my curiosity in poking around or my creativity in how I attacked enemies.
Wolfenstein 2 is a thudding, explicitly violent game that doesn’t mind looking into the heart of the people involved in this war. Without going into too much spoilery detail, this is one of the few action games that plays with the idea of what would happen if the hero was to be held accountable for the hundreds, if not thousands, of people he killed in the name of what’s “good.”

And that’s the strength of this sequel. It balances a steady stream of suffering and hurt with exuberant humanity. It deals with our darkest impulses and our best, and plays them both up to a ridiculous degree. There’s nothing subtle about Wolfenstein 2, but it’s all affecting in a way that makes the game feel special and coherent. There are moments in the game that made my heart swell, while others were so grisly I had to look away.

It took me twelve hours, though your timing will vary depending how much you want to collect and how tricky you find some of the tougher fights. I actually spent a fair bit of time hunting collectibles; they’re fun things like cards of Reich celebs or records, as well as notes and diaries – they add detail to the world and it’s a world that makes me crave all of its details. For replayability’s sake, there’s even an entire separate timeline to play, which will be familiar to people returning from the first game. You can make the choice again at the beginning here, rather than having to import a save. It swaps out one character for another and does the same with a couple of weapons.

Earlier, I said Wolfenstein 2 is a hair’s breadth away from being one of my favourite singleplayer action games of all time. The hair seems to have become much thicker as I think back, but the truth is that if there were even a handful of first-person shooters this strange and spectacular released in any given year, I’d barely find time to play anything else. In a week that has seen speculation about the future of this type of big budget singleplayer game, for all its flaws, this is a reminder of how powerful and vital they can be.

I am a huge fan of New Order and Old Blood (played through them two times each already).

Look forward to picking this up next year some time on the cheap.

I played the first 20 minutes of the campaign. It was extremely intense with some very dark subject matter, reverting all the back to BJ's childhood.

The gameplay and controls are buttery smooth. The SFX and feel of the weapons are siginificantly improved from the New Order. Also, I chose the "Hard" difficulty, which is still two below the max difficulty setting, and I have already died 10 + times.

I am going to love this game.
