I've never played socom before. If it's fast paced run adn shoot then no. This game is much more realistic. More methodical, and even scares you at moments because of the situations you're put in.

No you dont respawn online, although you can set it to that.

I've never played socom before. If it's fast paced run adn shoot then no. This game is much more realistic. More methodical, and even scares you at moments because of the situations you're put in.

No you dont respawn online, although you can set it to that.

I have both, and GR2 is more sim,you can't just run around shooting taking 10 shots like you can in Socom,you need to be more tactical in GR2,but I like the way Socom's lobbies are set up,it takes forever to find a game on GR2 sometimes,plus you never know who's talking in GR2,and it won't tell you when someone dies(sorely needed in GR2).

That's not true. If you look at the box at the bottom left of your screen, it shows your teammates health, and if they die their box turns black.

it does that online? single player it does but not multiplayer. all of these problems regardgin the lobby and speead of finding a game will be fixed very shortly.

is there a game in GR2 that allows you to play a game online where its everyone for themselves, last man standing? I know you couldnt do this in Socom2, and that was disappointing.

there is a mode online where its everyman for himself. I forgot what its caleld but its in the manual and defiantely there. Actually I'm giong to try it out tonight. Thanks for the idea!
