 Re: Mario Odyssey

Why should it be that price? 80.00 is a tad high I agree but to say it should be 20.00 less that the other systems controllers is...????

In any case the Pro is a great controller.Joshua:

 Re: Mario Odyssey

I started the game up this week and have been playing sporadically while on the road for work. Can't wait to get home and really dive in over the weekend. Game is an absolute blast. The hat mechanic is really cool and I've enjoyed wandering around the different areas seeing what I can and can't do.

I hadn't read much about the game going in, as I wanted a fresh perspective. Really interesting that they've done away with lives system in favor of coins. Makes sense when moons are such a vital part of the game.

Nintendo always manages to knock these games out of the park. So glad I finished Mario + Rabbids so I can devote all of my time to Odyssey.Currently Playing:

 Re: Mario Odyssey

I've played enough to get through the first two legit worlds (I haven't gone back to Cap Kingdom yet, though) and trying to pick up as many region coins and power moons as possible. When I went to leave Cascade Kingdom I was scratching my head at where 9 other moons could be. I felt like I scrapped that map to the bone searching for moons.

Anyway, I'm really enjoying it so far. It's simple, but the cap abilities really make the game interesting and diverse. The humor is great and I've caught myself laughing at different situations in a childlike manner. Obviously a very different game from Zelda and what that accomplishes, but man this game is fun and enjoyable.

So you have reasons to re-visit later Joshua: Joshua:

 Re: Mario Odyssey

 Awesome, thank you.

I went back to Cap Kingdom and Cascade Kingdom last night basically just to collect the clothes from the shops I missed on the initial landings. Some of these power moons are tricky, too.

 Re: Mario Odyssey

So I found 13 moons at Cascade Kingdom. I'm pretty sure that's it for that kingdom. I scoured it damn good.

Edit: Scratch that. There are 25 moons there. Wow! I felt like I got every nook and cranny of that place.

 Re: Mario Odyssey

I am seriously loving this game. Taking a break to charge the Switch and play some PS4.
