Re: NEW GEN SCREENS FROM EA!
With regards to the blur, I wonder if it is possible that the Next Gens will render MOTION BLURS, along with anti-aliasing for the NFL video games? It would be damned sweet if they did!!Originally posted by Jistic -

That's great! Please post all the comments as soon as you can! I would love to read about it!Originally posted by BoltmanI've read the Design Specs currently being thrown about for the PS III and Next-Box, they are simply jaw dropping.
I read it in one of the game/graphic designer mags I subscribe to.
I'll go through all my old mags to see if I can dig it out, and post them here.

Re: NEW GEN SCREENS FROM EA!
Good job Bacardi, breaking out the pre-Atari 2600- arcade football sweetness. This game takes me back 25 years to my elementary school days. This game used to cost 25 cents and I would spend 20 dollars in one day playing it. Ahh memories.Originally posted by Bacardi151clearly you must be a fanboi if you dont realize those are actual in screen shots
they are even introducing franchise manage mode

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

WOW! Your parents must have been RICH!! I had to save $1 a day (lunch money-I was a very skinny kid) just so I could take a $5 bill to the Rustic Hills Mall's game room called 'Nickelodean' every Saturday. They had a special on Saturdays — 6 Tokens for $1 BABY!!Originally posted by jfsoloGood job Bacardi, breaking out the pre-Atari 2600- arcade football sweetness. Remember how freaking HUGE the black track ball was on that bad boy? You could hear the older kids (Junior High School) all the way into the mall itself, pounding away on that sucker yelling at the table-top, black and white screen! Wouldn't it be cool to go back in time to our favorite arcade, and just live in that moment again for a day?

Nah, not rich, just an only child blowing two weeks worth of dough on a game that I was obsessed with. There was a baseball one too that I played just as much. I used to smash 20-30 year olds at both those games. My reflexed are still good, but not blazing fast like they used to beOriginally posted by Dark_Lord_VaderWOW! Your parents must have been RICH!! I'm sure if I played that game now, the 12 years would be whipping MY ***.

Re: NEW GEN SCREENS FROM EA!
I guess we are getting a little off topic here. I will try to reign it back in for the original poster. The Madden screen does look very cool. I am just scared to death that we are indeed looking at a cut scene, or just a pretty picture and not a gameplay shot. All the awesome closeup graphics in the world don't matter a bit if you are playing the game and you are not fooled into believing that you are playing with real people on your screen.Comment
