Re: POP, anyone?
I had it preordered but didn't even go to pick it up and just cancelled the preorder. I hate the new direction they took the game w/ the darker tone. BTW POP: SOT was my favorite game of all time before GTA:SA came out.My football alliances: E-A-G-L-E-S Eagles AND Hokie Hokie Hokie Hi -

Re: POP, anyone?
Plays alot like Ninja Gaiden now, the entire game feels alot closer to NG. Tons of new single and double handed weapon combos and techniques. The in-game movelist is 6 pages.
Still has great puzzles, so don't read into all the negative press about the new focus on fighting. After the first few scenes which act as a tutorial level, its back to lots of environment puzzles and booby-trap navigation.
Once you get used to the heavy-metal BG, the new tone isn't bad. I guess the figured that Ninja Gaiden sold a ton of copies with their japanese rock-inpired soundtrack so they copied the recipe. The visuals are fantastic, and the Prince himself is animated better than ever...CG cutscenes look really nice.
Still a phenomenal game.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

Re: POP, anyone?
I'd have to agree. So far, after getting used to the change in tone, I'm enjoying this game as much and probably even a bit more than the first one. I don't agree very much with the IGN review - POP 2 does everything POP did and more.Originally posted by HMcCoyPlays alot like Ninja Gaiden now, the entire game feels alot closer to NG. I'm gonna get it for xbox.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
