It always moves back and forth between them. First the Geforce 3's ruled all. Then the RADEON series. Then Geforce 4 Ti's. Then RADEON All-in-Wonder's. Now I would say its the Geforce 6800's. God I'd love to get my hands on one of those for some serious shader programming.

Depends on who you ask, besides it really doesn't matter who has the best card on the PC. Nvidia had the better console based graphics card(Xbox over Gamecube). It's too early to tell which card will be better we'll find out more info over time. I do know that Nvidia plans to go with Sli card which a dual graphics card, pretty damn powerful for console.
