Frostpunk Trailer and release Date 4/24
I have been a fan of 11 Bit for years and love this studio. Played a demo of this and can't wait for the full game.

Is there a demo of this on Steam?EA and 2k have the unfortunate task of trying to balance on a tightrope of fun and sim while trying not to fall 10,000 feet to their death. Instead of a safety net waiting down below there will just be angry customers quick to move out of the way and talk of their failure.Comment

Pretty cool so far. My first play through didn't last very long and I was banished, sent to the cold frontier by my people. Just as we were getting things going to! Well hopefully the next go around will be better.Comment

I'd say sim city although you do assign workers to specific jobs you dont directly control your people.

I read somewhere though that a play through only lasts about a month and a half of in-game time. Is that true? That's awfully short for a city builder.Comment

Re: Frostpunk Trailer and release Date 4/24
From what I've seen, a single run will take ~6 hours which on it's own is abysmally short, even at $30. If it's worth playing through numerous times and getting a different experience then that's a lot better, though still a bit disappointing to not be able to run the city for a longer period of time. I haven't seen either way if that's the case yet though.Comment

Depends on the replay value.

The developers said in a Q & A that they will be adding more modes and scenarios along with an endless sandbox mode.Comment

I was just coming to say this. If you all have ever played This War of Mine, you will know these Devs have no problem supporting their games. They always had a sandbox mode and other scenarios in the works. So replay-ability wont be a problem down the road.Last edited by Bullit; 04-30-2018, 03:37 PM.In Loving memory of my "Cricket" 1/2/96 - 11/19/2012

Re: Frostpunk Trailer and release Date 4/24
Been playing this game a lot this week. It hits that perfect balance between managing what your people doing and not micro managing every little detail. Be lost for hours in this game, time just flies by. They bringing it to consoles this summer.
