Xbox owns PS2 online hands down. The fact that you pay for it is why though... You pay for the great service you get. You don't pay for PS2 online so they can only offer you so much.
PS2 0wned Xbox mainly becuz it came out alot earlier. It's like Madden and the 2k series. Madden was around longer, people got used to it, and stuck with it. Xbox didn't change alot of people's look at the PS2 because mainly people would look at the graphics when they compare systems. And alot of people saw, Xbox wasn't worth trading in their PS2 for (graphics wise). Not many casual gamers look into the specs.
But what's the better console? Xbox, duh... That's common sense lol...
Oh and who ever said SOCOM2 has the best online play is hella wrong. I own SOCOM 2, play it all the time, but it's not the greatest. I mean, when I think about it, what's so great about it. It's a regular run and gun shooting game with a clan system (like alot of other games, nothing new), and ummm... That's it. It's just fun that's all
