    What's a good non-sports game?

Just curious, I have not bought a non-sports game in many years.....but at the moment, I'm growing tired of madden...I've become too good to play against the all madden level. And I've just played so much football, that I'm burnt out. For some reason, I've read mixed reviews on NBA Live, and honestly, I've grown tired of the poor shooting and bad passing, in the NBA anyways. I cannot wait for MVP, but that's a few months away still.

So, anyone have a great non-sports title they reccommend I try? I guess I could try my talent in shooting and blowing stuff up. I liked the old commando game on nintendo, that's about how long its been since I tried a non-sports title.

    Thanks.

    World of Warcraft

if not, then any of the big titles that have been released the last 2-3 months(halo, GTA, MGS3)
Eternal Salvation or triple your money back!

        What system do you prefer?

PC - Pirates!, Half Life 2
        XBOX - Halo, KOTOR II
        PS2 - GTA: San Andreas, MGS 2
        Gamecube - Metroid Prime 2

Those are arguably the best titles out right now for each system.

        Edit:

WoW definitely has been getting huge praise. That's good to consider, even though it's an MMORPG.

What's the purpose of these games...and I have a PS2. I guess I like to have a point to the game.

Burnout 3 is an excellent game also.

have you not read any review of any of the big games that have come out?
I mean, gta:sa alone would be a great pickup and it has sold tons

I haven't read anything about anything other than the sports titles. I wouldn't even know where to go to read something about them. I played GTA vice city just a few hours....I didn't really enjoy it that much. I don't know....I think I'm really a sports video game guy....but I'm just burned out on madden at the moment. I'm thinking of nba live, but it's been awhile since I played it..about 4 or more years. I'd have to learn the controls all over again...I'm getting too old to learn new stuff. Just trying to get some opinions or advice.
