Fixed the issue. Played my first character and ran arround, crafted a few things and such. Committed suicide after getting some basics down and started a new character.

Second character I made sure survival was maxed. Got a couple of spears, stone axe, military helmet, shirt and pants. Found a backpack and some odd and ins. I do have ammo but no gun.

I'm waiting for vehicles to be put in the game then I'll start playing again. Possibly this Friday.

I jumped on the hype train when it was taking off... Haven't touched the game in months.

It definitely has potential, but doesn't really have anything that makes me want to come back. I would like to get back into it, though, so it is staying on my radar.

just FYI scum still going and stronger than ever.

It's still best described as the best hardcore survival/pvp experience since the heyday of Day Z mod and a million times more accessible than that was - fairly intuitive UI and easy to dive right into crafting (the Day Z independent release isn't even in the same league).

This past week I decided to get back into this game. Been on a Survival game kick lately.

Once I decided to go sloooow.. and not try and rush stuff it became less frustrating and more fun.

Finally got over 200 "Fame" and have the startings of a small (very small) base..

With work schedule etc.. Online is rarely an option but having a lot of fun SP.

Having vehicles (Don't think they were in game last time I played but I didn't get too far either.. lol) is a game changer for me.

Funny, I downloaded this yesterday too after getting in the mood for a survival game.

Played sparingly last year but really didn't play that much.

I had a decent start last night. Found decent gear and weapons early on. Had an M9 and a full clip. 2 rifles and ammo, but no clip for either. Then I got destroyed by the mechs. Respawned, got my stuff then got destroyed by a group of puppets.... promptly rage-quit lol.

I definitely want to jump back on though, it was fun. Is there any reason or benefit to building a base up? That's definitely something I want to do, just not sure it there's any point to it yet.
