    PS2 problem

For the past couple of days I've had problems with my PS2 recognizing my controllers. When it does recognize them there is often delays in some of the actions I can do. Question. Is it my PS2 or is it my controllers. The controllers are pretty old and may have some wear and tear on em.

I would think It's your Controller, buy a new and test it. If it works your good If not then you know there's somthing wrong with your PS2.

I think its your PSII, I have a fairly newer PSII (not the thin one, but new in that it doesnt need the little box plugged in to recognize the remote for DVD play.) And mine is doing the exact same thing, starting to not recognize the controller plugged in.

Funny thing is, I find it only happens with official PSII controllers, all my 3rd party ones get recog'd instantly.

its pretty cheap to replace the controller ports for the ps2 they can be had for about 10-11 bucks and the plug right in. Of course you will have to take apart the ps2 but its pretty cheap to replace them.
