    Games wishlist

With Red Dead Redemption 2 it has gotten me thinking about just how incredible the worlds they create are. I’m completely blown away with RDR2 and was equally blown away with GTA V. With that in mind it makes me think about the next game that Rockstar is going to do, and really more specifically Grand Theft Auto VI.

While the modern world’s are awesome I love the Wild West setting. And Imd absolutely LOVE to see Grand Theft Auto VI set in either the 1920’s or the 1950’s. Either setting would lend itself so well to very cool environments, cars and stories.

We’ve seen Rockstat create Los Angeles in San Andreas and GTA V, New York City in GTA IV, and Miami in GTA Vice City. How awesome would GTA VI be in Rockstar’s version of 1920’s Chicago. The cars, the Al Capone-style gangs, the Tommy guns, etc.

    I’m in.

To be honest, the last GTA I enjoyed was San Andreas. All the rest after that I didn't care for at all. I rather Rockstar make a new IP instead of another GTA. Get to a certain point where people get tired of sequels and prequels.

I think billions of dollars suggest that people don’t get tired of it.

They should go back to the 80s or try the 70s. I can't see a GTA set in the 50s or 20s.

Heavy rumor territory here, but GTA VI might go back to Vice City. The name even flows with the roman numeral.
(This is not official art, by the way. I don't even know who made it, but I've had it for ages)

No guarantees, of course. It would make some sense, I think, but I'm not opposed to a new setting or perhaps multiple settings (think an expansion of North Yankton that you could actually further explore and visit, arrive by plane).

I want to see Vice City in 1989 as the 80s come to a close and all the colors start fading away. Also with the music since its 1989 they can have a huge music collection of everything that came out in the 80s. They wouldn't be limited like San Andreas and Vice City were because they couldn't add songs that came out after 1992 or 1986.

I have one wish and one wish only.

The ability to mark any car you customize as yours like the horse in RDR2. We are so past the technological stage where you have to lose a car forever simply because you drove it to a mission.

They're like 3 games too late on this. It's time. I want to drive my Ferrari around, sans fear it'll disappear if I do anything other than drive around.

Barring a surprise announcement, it looks like R* is skipping GTA on this gen (V was a remaster). If my memory serves me correctly, this is the first time they've done that.

Would love a new Vice City game as it's my favorite GTA game.

                    Doesn't V already do this?

Anyways, after roaming around Saint Dennis in RDR2 I really would love to see a game set in the prohibition era with organized crime. If Rockstar made it with the detail and depth of RDR2 I would be ecstatic. If another company could match that quality I would be ecstatic.

The detail and look of Saint Dennis really makes me want a game in that era. Plus I just love any game that has a more realistic approach to it that isn't set in modern day. I enjoyed GTA IV and V, neither come close to San Andreas or Vice City. I like visiting the past more than I do the modern era.

V does not. The predetermined characters cars stay but you can't pick any car you want

This would be great if they go back to South Beach. It would be cool if you could travel to Cuba

You can do it in GTA Online.
