      You couldn't in GR1 and Jungle Storm... So I guess you still can't in GR2

              On the Xbox you just walk over to it and push (I think) the left thumb stick.

                              Yep, a little icon will pop up when you are able to switch weapons. Just click on the left thumbstick.
