Re: Your opinion of Metal Gear Solid 3

Boy, I got it yesterday for my birthday, and it is awesome. A lot of intriguing story lines to start out, and then the game get's immersive. I was jumping out of my skin when I was spotted a few times.

It is very nice so far. Definately recommend.

That no radar thing makes the game a lil more fun. Now you have to use your equipment to detect enemies and stuff. Radars made things too easy. You wouldn't even have to watch Raiden, just follow the radar. But not in MGS 3 Now you don't know how if you enemies can see you or not but looking at a radar. So you have to stay in hiding until the right time.

You'll prolly find yourself lying down in a spot for 10 minutes tryin to figure out how to move without gettin merked.

Very Hard and Extreme are as realistic as they come. Normal mode is fun, but when you're seen, you can get away easy (and eat bullets), or just use the fake death pill.

lol thats until you figure out you can go through the game killing everyone. although that makes beating the sorrow take FOREVER

        The dynasty will return

This is a great game. I also didn't enjoy MGS2 because of the extremely long cut-scenes and weird story. This story is a little more believable and doesn't interrupt the gameplay as much. I would recommend anyone with a PS2 to pick this one up.

Once you beat this...it really ties together the stories of all the games.

We now know Ocelot's connection and how the "La-li-lu-le-lo" operate

I just went back and played through a bunch of MGS 2 and it was wicked cool now that I knew what was going on lol
