Something VC could do to hurt EA

Buy some teams' exclusive license rights. Like buying just 5 MLB teams' exclusive rights so EA couldn't put them in their game or something like that. That would be a low blow. You'd have 5 generic teams and a very angry crowd of fans.

Even if that were possible, I don't think that would be good for the gamers.

Instead of being guaranteed one complete (accuracy-wise) sports game, the consumer would be presented with two incomplete ones.

EA already kinda did this with the NFL. From what I know, EA has the exclusive rights to the NFL. Since I don't like EA games, more than likely I won't be buying a football game next year.

All the teams are under the mlb umbrella, so I don't think you can pick and choose! Besides, we do not wan't anymore exclusivity deals whether partial or whole, period!!! We're the ones who get bent over when these deals take place.

                    Why would it get burned?

EA's HQ is still standing after what they did.

Who said it had to be? EA's deal wasnt good for gamers.

Two incomplete ones? I think that would be one incomplete game if ESPN had all the teams and EA only had some.
