Is every large building swarming with enemies? The 3D printer side mission, Jesus F was the harder than I thought it was going to be.

I really hope all missions and side missions aren’t like that.

Well ummm...... The better the loot is, the more number and more harder the enemy will be. By far the hardest areas in the game are the areas that are guarded by Wolves. They are no joke. Not only are their weapons powerful, they can see very well, see pretty far and they can run pretty damn fast. They are relentless when they spot you. However they have the best loot in the game. Their weapons and gear are gold tier.

If you not in the 110s or above, don't even bother going towards one of their bases or check points. Their areas of control are also accompanied by those rolling tank looking drones, which move very fast.

        Some tips for everybody:

        1. Radio operator should always be killed first.

        2. Drone operators and rocket operators should be the next priority, followed by heavies. Do not kill them first, they explode when you shoot them, which the radio operator will hear and call in reinforcements. Don't take reinforcements lightly, some areas of the map they come in 3 cars deep.

        3. Sync shot drones should always be used on heavies first. Heavies do a lot of damage, so the quicker you can take them out, the better.

        4. Don't kill the first enemy you see. Instead spend some time watching everybody on base patrol pattern. They all over lap at a certain point. You want to kill them far away from that overlapping area. Dead bodies send the entire place on alert.

        5. Unlike Wildlands, don't kill the generator. Killing the generator causes every enemy on base to go towards the generator. I know it is tempting, but seriously, it is more of a headache then a benefit. Especially on those bases where there are no hiding spots near the generator.

        6. Sniper rifles and marksman rifles are your friend. No matter the class you choose. Learn to kill as many from distance as you can. Thin that herd. Don't fall in love with knife kills. You will find yourself caught and rushed by shotgun enemies. They do serious damage. SMG carrying enemies do damage as well.

        7. Rocket launchers are slow. So keep that in mind when you use them. Takes time to pull it out and aim it. So if you in a fire fight, don't use it, you have high chance of being killed before you put it on your shoulder.

        8. A couple shotguns and hand guns don't have a silencer. Keep that in mind and make sure you are aware of that before you pull the trigger.

        9. Your drone have very good range and a mighty long battery life. Recon the entire area before you enter a base. Seriously, that battery lasts a LONG TIME. I once had it up in the air for 15 minutes and still had half a battery left.

          Excellent tips, Skillz.

So quick question, I unlocked the drone sync shot but I can't seem to use it. Is there something you have to do to activate it?

Do I have to collect everything in a area? Meaning the bigger places and all the crates and such.

              1. You have to make sure it is selected in your inventory
              2. You have to be aiming at a person with your weapon and press L1 to mark them. You can mark up to 3 targets. Then you hold L1 to make the drones kill the target.

Took me a bit to figure it out since you can't mark them with your drone. I find it easiest to use my sniper rifle to mark the targets I want. Also keep in mind drone sync shots are consumables. Can only carry 5 at a time, then you have to buy more.

No. It can be helpful because part of this game is detective work. You collect clues all over the place. Find enough clues on a particular topic, you can select solve it. It is all on the objective board screen. There you will see all the clues you have, how many you have on a particular topic, how many topics there are.

Like a good number of things, Ubisoft didn't do a good job explaining things that is in the game. Which to me they would have been better off selling an actual strategy guide explaining everything in the game in detail. So yeah even though you don't have to collect everything, it is helpful because leads you to where you should be going.

That is how you discover side missions, faction missions, weapon blue prints, attachment blue prints, pictures of your teammates, backstory info on people.

Another tip you can do on the map screen just hit the Y button/Triangle button and it will show you how many main missions, side missions and objectives that you have discovered for that province. But you won't discover a lot of things if you don't collect stuff. Just like you should be talking to any civilian you see with an ! over their head. You can get locations for things.

But if you don't want to collect things, explore enough you will eventually bump into things by accident. OR you can just use REAL WORLD MONEY to buy all the blue prints if you don't want to be bother with all the side missions and faction missions, because there are a lot of them.

gear score 137. Unlocked the ghille pants. Haven't unlocked the ghille top yet, I might just buy the top. Getting more Gold drops on this level, not only from Wolves but regular soldiers too. Pretty much all my drops now are purple, blue and gold. Don't see too many green drops anymore after 100. Unlocked a Ghost DMR weapon blue print and a Ghost knife. Got a bit of Walker's backstory and tad bit of the telltale signs of Walker starting to change.

Went way West and ran into snowy weather, which OMG that area is gorgeous with the snow falling and snow on the ground. I wonder if the further west I go the deeper the snow gets, snow wasn't deep at the area I was at, but it was pretty. FYI the West is dangerous. Very high level enemy out there. Ran into a Behemoth guarding a weapon blue print. That thing had like 7000 armor. Nothing I had could deal with that. Sneaked passed it, got the blue print, hauled *** when it spotted me and unloaded bullets and mortar spreads at my backside. That thing has some serious range, I had to run FAR.

FYI if you come across red locked door and there is a circle near the door, that is a bio metric scanner. Pick up a dead body, carry it over there and the door will open. Sometimes it require the body of a commander level clearance. You can spot them out the crowd because they would be wearing a beret. Some weapons, clues, blue prints are behind locked doors.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint is a confused hodgepodge of disparate ideas that rarely come together in an enjoyable way.

Definitely not true. Tried it last Tuesday, died instantly. If your weapon score isn't at or higher then their gear level score, it will take a good amount of bullets to kill 1 of them. So that was changed in the final build.

Gear score for your weapons and armor definitely matter.

Their reaction to a buddy getting shot in front of them is often one of confusion; they'll stand still in the open instead of scurrying for cover. They don't fare much better in the midst of combat, either, running between the same two pieces of cover without engaging you or seemingly forgetting you exist.
Not true either. Not on the higher gear score levels. They do run and hide behind cover, peaking out trying to find you. Then they will slowly make their way towards where they thought the gun shot came from. And the Wolves aggressively search for you.

Yeah the guy who wrote this only played for 25 hours and the way he is talking, it was an earlier build and he sound like a guy who played with all the time savers unlocked. I have played for 33 or 34 hours now. It is so much stuff that is in this game that he didn't even talk about at all.

Game is definitely not a 4.

GRB is on sale at Best Buy for $50/$40 GCU for those interested and haven't purchased it yet. Since I have a $10 gift card from GreedFall, I might jump on it as I don't see the game being lower than $40 come Black Weekend anyway.

Thoughts on best ASR and Sniper setup?

I’m currently running with Bren ASR and Tac 50 Sniper, thinking of switching to 416 ASR.

I personally like the Wolf Scout DSR and a Tac 50 Sniper. DSR can be fired in burst. I like the 516 ASR more then the 416 ASR. AK 47 and AK 74 are nice too. I am not too picky with Sniper rifles, I have used 4 different ones. I put the same scope on them anyways and increase every weapon I use damage and range level. Weapons are currently MK2 level. Once I get enough parts, I will put them on MK3 level. My explosives are on MK2 level too.

I am also a sucker for pointing laser pointers on my weapons. Just look cool, especially at night time. I also tend to use my thermal goggles when sniping from distance at times. Make it easier to see when you are very far. My current longest shot is 497 meters.
