    • Class Options
    • New expansions every 4 months
    • New Raid Mode

Single player is true single player, no AI teammates at all. There is 4 person co-op if you want. PVE and PVP. Stats are shared across all modes. Different character classes.

    INJURY SYSTEM
Now when your Ghost takes damage they may also become injured. These injuries will slow you down and reduce your combat effectiveness requiring additional time and resources to heal your Ghost back up to peak fighting condition.

    TERRAIN AND STAMINA
Traversing the world of Auroa will push your Ghost to their limits. Steep slopes will make you slip and fall, traversing water will slow you down, and snow will plow in your wake. Properly managing your stamina will be essential to surviving and fighting back.

    THE BIVOUAC
Trapped behind enemy lines The Bivouac is a temporary camp where you and your fellow Ghosts will rest and prepare for the next mission. Clean your weapons, change classes, craft items, upgrade gear, and more then select desired time of day and weather before venturing back out.

    BUDDY CARRY
Leave no man behind. When an ally is down and needs help instead of giving medical attention in the middle of a firefight you can quickly sling them over your shoulder and move to safety to get them back on their feet.

    PRONE BLENDING
As a Ghost you can disappear into your environment making you nearly invisible to your enemies. Use this feature to setup an ambush or avoid detection when cover is not available.

    ADVANCED ENEMY AI
The Wolves and their allies are experienced elite soldiers and will communicate amongst themselves to hunt you down if detected. With a wide variety of AI archetypes and behaviors no two encounters will be the same.

    ADAPTIVE COVER
An innovative cover system will automatically adapt your Ghost’s body position to match available cover and execute advanced tactics such as leaning to aim around corners.

Create a unique Ghost to look and play your way. With multiple classes and deep systems featuring thousands of options for both functional and cosmetic customization no two Ghosts will look and play the same. Weapons, gear, and equipment are craftable, customizable, and upgradeable using items and resources you’ll find across Auroa.

I'll be interested in the 4 different classes and options that gives you.

Watching the live stream. They added quite a bit of Arma 3 and The Division 2 elements to the game.

You can play solo or co-op like before. I *think* i remember seeing something about unlocking a drone that can do sync shot solo (so maybe just lone wolf? not sure)...they didn't go in depth was just a comment and i may be confused.

There will be single player, and this time you will (or can) be a lone wolf, no AI teammates. It wasn't clear to me if only the lone wolf option exists, or if you can choose to have the AI mates.

Thank you soooo much. This sounds like a game of the year contender for me already!!

As someone who has always been annoyed with the AI teammates, I don't like the lone wolf only approach. Only in the fact that more options are always better. Why not allow solo or squad?

GR has always been about you leading your squad. Seems a bit counterintuitive to the style of the series. I guess they had a different vision for this game.

That said it won't deter me. Now there's just less of a burden playing solo. I can imagine there will be HUGE split on this decision, though. Hopefully they're not shooting themselves in the foot with the majority of their fan base.

Well a lot of people complained about the AI teammates in Wildlands being useless. So in a way you can say they were listening to the community. But by watching the live stream, it is very clear they are modeling this game after The Division 2. I do like the you have to eat, hydrate and treat your wounds element of the game.

I hope they also do NOT follow the Division with having it be always online though. I truly loved the Division but the only reason I didn't jump into the Division 2 is the always online component. I get that it is not an issue for most but it is an issue for me and will impact what I buy and play.

Yea, I agree about them being useless. I'd usually make them just stay put lol, so it's really not a deal breaker for me. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of wishing they'd fix the squad issues instead of just getting rid of them all together.

The decision just seems odd IMO. Thinking back to the older GR games where squads weren't useless and controlling them was enjoyable (nostalgia talking?) reminds me of what this series used to be all about.

Still willing to bet there'll be a wide divide on the subject. Some will love it, some will hate it. Can't please everyone, I get that, it's just a major change to the series, good or bad.

I thought they listened to you pretty well in the GRAW games, and even the real Rainbow6 games.

Not sure why they don't just allow that, and even full stealth like splinter cell if they want you to lone wolf it.

Either way im looking to play with some others. Its always more fun, but i don't really have a group to play with.

So the squad isn't there at all?

I guess that makes what I thought I heard about a drone giving you multiple sync shots something real. That replaces having wonky AI but keeps the ability to sync the shots (which is the feature we always liked anyways).

Still might like the option to have the AI, but this'll still be cool once we learn more I bet.
