Well yeah that was a given. The Division 2 isn't on Steam. I'm still getting it for PC, just buying directly from the Uplay store like I did with The Division 2. Ubisoft not putting their games on Steam anymore, strictly their own store and Epic.

Far as why they just didn't make the AI teammates better ? Probably because we live in online world and most gamers prefer playing with other people. It is sad really, because I personally like having my own AI army that I can control. But you have an entire generation of gamers who all they have ever known was online multi player.

As long as the game scales correctly I don't have a problem with it. I beat the entire The Division 2 solo. Listening to the people who played Breakpoint already, they said with 4 human players the game currently was too easy. Which I am not surprised because Wildlands solo was very easy even on the hardest difficulty. But they have time to tune it.

Yeah, it makes sense....and as long as solo they make it so you can have help or cover (using the sync and probably other stuff, maybe drones with guns?) and you can realistically beat it solo then I'm fine. I really just used my teammates as sync shot guys and then if stuff went wild they'd fire but I didn't micromanage their positions.

Oh I totally micromanaged their positions. Was pissed you couldn't move them individually. This game going to have pre-planning involved. Wonder how that will work for a solo person since you are by yourself. I am ecstatic we going to have breach equipment in this game.

I'm intrigued too....I really wonder how it'll feel solo, because they obviously have to make it fun/playable.

The siege stuff sounds cool, along with cutting through fences and things.

The AI teammates being gone is great as all I ever did was put the three of them behind a mountain or some trees or whatever and have them stand there like statues while clearing outposts or missions solo. So happy!!! Earlier than I was expecting though. Wonder what this means for Watch Dogs 3???

Well I am out then. Shame. I was excited for this. Oh well should have known better. Seems ridiculous that single player content keeps getting locked behind an always online connection.

Do you not have internet? I never play online but I always have internet (we use netflix and everything)....

(not being negative or anything, just wondering :-)) I agree with you how the always on can be annoying at times.

I have very limited and spotty coverage for internet. Nothing that is reliable or stable enough to game online. I can usually stream Netflix but thats about it.
