    US Troops playing vids

Poor Nintendo can't get a break, even with the troops.

Must be weird to be playing Socom and then heading out to a real warzone.

    Re: US Troops playing vids

A good friend of mine is over in Iraq right now. He's been there since March and will finally return home on February 13th. He had me ship his XBox out to him a few months back.

Apparently, out in Iraq, there is HUGE black market for games and DVD's. He was telling me that Iraqi's will go around town, soliciting the soldiers to buy games from them. He said they'll open a bag or suitcase and offer you 3 or 4 games for like $20 American. That's 3 or 4 games for a total price of $20.

Unfortunately for my friend, he got sand in his XBox and it's no longer working. Ahh well...he only has a little more than a month left before he comes home. He can tough it out.
