Anyof you guys have this game? Could you give a brief review? GSW put me on to this game too, and from the vids it looks pretty good. If its worth it I'm going to get it this weekend?

How is the single player mode? How is the game online? All that good stufrf.. any answers are appreciated

Online and single player are virtually identical. Just with online the other team is being controlled by a human. Cool concept, but got insanely boring after a few days. Worth a rental, nothing more.

        Perfectly said. Ditto.

Also realize that you never shoot a weapon in this game. You're simply telling your troops where to move and where to shoot. This is NOT a first- or third-person shooter. It's a real-time strategy game.

The game also is extremely linear and extremely scripted. If you are killed, you restart, follow the same path and see the CPU soldiers in the same positions shooting at the same time as before.

        Take care,

The game is good, but begins to stagnate a bit after you get used to the gameplay mechanic. You encounter an enemy force, suppress them, then flank them with your other team. The fact that the enemies are always in the same spots kills the game’s replay value because once you know where the enemies are located, you can run through the level and not worry about getting flanked or ambushed. If they would have had enemies appear randomly, it would have made it more intense in the long run. Some more variety to the gameplay would have helped too. I would have liked to have been able to enter and clear some of the many buildings surrounding you. Good first effort though and a lot of fun the first time through. Hopefully they’ll listen to some of the complaints and address them in the sequel. Worth the purchase only if you can find it cheap IMO.

No, you tell the squad when to shoot, and they shoot. You never actually fire the gun. It's a boring game. If you are into the Ghost Recon series, don't waste your time with FSW.

I would recommend picking up Rainbow Six 3: Black Arrow. It's another Tom Clancy game made by Ubisoft. Great game.

it's a great game the first day. But after the first day, the game gets very repetitive and just gets extremely boring. Like others have said, it's only worth a rental. BTW if you don't have Ghost Recon 2 yet, pick that up if you like these sort of games.

That's exactly what I'm telling you. You direct your troops where to shoot. You never actually fire a weapon in this game, yours or your troops.
