So how does game pass work with this? If you download can you keep forever or is it tied to when game pass drops it?

It’s like Netflix. Most titles get removed after awhile, so even if you have it downloaded you won’t be able to play once it is removed unless you purchase it.

That's just an event that causes a debuff in one of your counties. You cannot do anything about it once it fires. Things that require you to take action pop up as reminders at the top and in the issues icon. Ones that pop up on their own are things you should take care of immediately. Things in the issues list are stuff that you should get to as soon as it's feasible (in red) or things that you should do but won't hurt if you don't (in green).

Those events that pop up (they can be good or bad) are generally affected by the stats of your councilors.

So after getting more time with the game, I do have to say that this is easily the best release Paradox has had since EU4.

I fired this up, spent 2 hours and still wasn't able to name a guardian for my little heir. Try again tonight to press play and actually move forward.

It was fun though in those two hours trying to decide!

If you been waiting on the console version, well it has arrived. It is on the PS5 as well.

I'm timid to boot it up to be honest - looks overwhelming and not something you can just understand in a 45min session
Liquor in the front, poker in the rear.

As I said a while back in this thread, it's a Paradox game, so to fully understand it, you will need to watch a few hours of beginner guides on YouTube then fail for like 100 hours of play lol

I also watched a bit of gameplay from console and it looks like a chore to play it in that form.

                    Re: Crusader Kings 3

Strategy games just play better on the PC over all. Especially a Paradox game. Like I can handle Xcom and sometimes Civilization on a console, but this, Stellaris, War Hammer, etc just feels more natural on PC. At times the streamlining to make it work with a controller on console just make it worse. However if you never played it on PC then you wouldn't know the difference. Hell even Cities Skylines I can't handle on console.
