On PC, it's gotta be Civ 5. Have almost 400 hours in.

On PS4, Red Dead Redemption 2 is my favorite.

I also have to vote for the remaster versions of final fantasy 7 and 9 because they were my favorite games of all time and I was able to play them in clarity on the PS4.

toss up for me: either Elder Scrolls Skyrim or Fallout New Vegas.

I love Civ V as well. It's so good that I just can't get into Civ 6 yet despite trying several times to make the move.

BTW, if you have played lately - did the enhanced UI mod go away from the Steam Workshop? I hadn't played in a while and fired it up over the weekend, but it seemed to be gone...

Dragon Age Inquisition with all their DLCs. Hands down the best RPG ever made. I am a story person, so yeah they had the best story of the decade.

BTW, if you have played lately - did the enhanced UI mod go away from the Steam Workshop? I hadn't played in a while and fired it up over the weekend, but it seemed to be gone...

I honestly am not a mods kind of guy but I do think the original writer of the mod stopped updating it if I heard correctly. But I honestly haven't played 5 in almost a year.

I made the move and bought 6 in the summer during the sale by but like you only played it once or twice before deciding I would go back to 5. Haven't gone back to 5 yet as I play the civ series in bursts. I play about twice a year and get consumed in the one more turn cycle when I do.

Witcher 3. Favorite game of all time. The first time I fought that winged beast early in the game I was just in awe. And the fact that if I waited too long to do certain missions they timed out and I was too late. Incredible game.

That's what I did with 6 too. I'm not disappointed that I bought it because I know that I'll get into it eventually.

By the way, I found this and am going to see if I can get it to work when I get home later. When you do pick up 5 again, I recommend adding this. It's the only mod I use and it's a complete game-changer. Doesn't do anything with the gameplay, just gives you all the information you ever need right on the screen in a non-intrusive way.

Gotcha. I will definitely book mark it. May be returning soon as just talking about it has the itch to play returning.

I guess I am kind of wishy washy when it comes to mods. I do play with mods on cities skylines lol. Which was a close second for me on PC with over 200 hours into it.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The only game that even comes remotely close to it is The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.

Probably either AC Origins or AC Odyssey for me. I don't have the patience for a full blown out RPG so AC gave me the best mix of RPG mixed with hack & slash.

The game I have sunk the most hours into over the course of the entire decade has been 2 titles.

Skyrim (easily 350 hours between the PS3 and PS4 remaster and now my son has the VR version which I have not tried out)

MLB The Show - probably between 3000- 4000 hours across the decade. Spanning from MLB The Show 11 thru 19. Easily the greatest console sports game series ever made.

I am on my first play through of The Witcher 3 and it is incredible (and yeah it has taken me forever to play through it but I don’t care....enjoying it immensely and I will commit to finish in 2020).

It was the greatest decade of video gaming for me personally. The PS3 and PS4 generation has been amazing and will be hard to top in the next decade IMO.

I will be sticking with the PS4 for at least two more years by my estimation. Maybe more. My gaming time is not nearly what it once was and I play so much sports games (that is my passion of course) that I fit in non sports games throughout the year. Hence my immense backlog.
