Because she was on your island and not her own. You can't transfer characters or islands between Switch systems. She will have to start over on her Switch Lite. Since you started the island on your Switch that island is yours and she was a secondary character.

On her Switch Lite, she created her own island and character, not the one from the docked Switch. Two different islands, two different characters. I cannot figure out why her own personal island won't load on her Switch Lite, but if you put in the physical copy of the game in the Lite, her island, character and saves are there.

If there’s anything that’s slightly annoying it’s the randomness in the kind of wood you’ll get from the trees. I’m trying to get enough regular wood to craft items for the 3 houses that need to be furnished. Seems most times I’m getting soft wood and hard wood. Lol I’ve been playing Stardew Valley more due to it.

The fencing options in this game are great. I've been able to build fences for myself and each of the residents of my island. Gives the houses that extra touch of character.

I got taken out by a scorpion the other night. Totally whiffed on my attempt to catch him with my net and then he charged at me and next thing I know, I'm waking up on the front step of my house, lol.

Watched a few Austin John Plays videos on YouTube and I've learned a lot about flowers, specifically breeding and cloning. If you're interested in getting different colors of flowers on your island, check him out and you'll pick up some good tips.

As I watch videos around the net, this game is actually pretty deep. Doesn’t seem so initially.

New update coming next week that allows you to swim and dive in the water! Some new items you'll be able to acquire on those dives as well.

Sounds like a second summer-themed update will be coming in August.

I was playing this game every single day for 3 months. Over the last 2-3 weeks, I've barely touched it. Major burnout with this game.

I traded it in toward something else. Wish I didn’t for one reason only. My nephew wanted it for his bday and if I hadn’t traded it I wouldn’t have had to spend an additional 60 bucks. [emoji1] Plus the V-Bucks I got him...sheesh

I didn't play for about 3 days. then back at it.
Spent a whole session just picking weeds once I got back lol
Then added 2 more spots for new homes...

Posted in the Switch thread, but thought I'd mention it here, too. Update coming 11/18 will finally allow users to transfer island (save) data from one Switch to another. Glad this is happening as I'll get the ability to play on my OG Switch hooked up to the TV; I've been Switch Lite only with this game.

Are you still limited to one island per system? Thinking about picking this up for "the house" for Christmas.

Yes. I know people had been asking for multiple save files.
