 Re: WOW, EA is loaded

do the math guys. All EA has to do is sell 17 Million copies of its football game over the next 15 yrs. Madden was already tops, now with the ESPN tv style presentation in it and owner mode. They will easily reach and surpass that 17 Mill copies ($850 Mill / $50 price of madden). Madden sells several Million copies each year on the PS2 alone.Originally posted by Vyce3hahahahah tru that

Sounds like a smart investment on EA's part. Shut down the competition, and then cash in. Last edited by charles167; 01-21-2005, 07:25 PM. Last edited by charles167; 01-21-2005, 07:25 PM.Comment

 Re: WOW, EA is loaded

That's nothing for EA. Like charles167 said "Do the math".

First off, that's 56 Million a year. Does anyone know what EA's yearly revenue is? It's estimated over 2 Billion. 850 Million is about 100-150 Million more than what EA makes in a QUARTER!

This is nothing for EA to do. Remember, EA Sports is a very small portion of Electronic Arts. There's a lot more to EA than just Madden, MVP etc....Comment
