    Gears Tactics (XB1/PC)

Surprised there hasn't been a dedicated thread to this upcoming game.
I believe it's available on April 28th (free to Game Pass subscribers).

    20 Minutes of Gameplay:

Vice describes it as a bloody version of Xcom:

Looking forward to trying this on Tuesday

Unfortunately it's not releasing on XB1 yet, just PC for now. I'll have to wait because my graphics card is too old now to run it on PC and depending on how it takes maybe I'll play it on next gen.

SRPG gameplay with a strong story and excellent cinematic scenes is the perfect type of game for me.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Finally got around to playing this game. It is way better then I thought it would be. Best way to describe it is this game is a more action based version of Xcom. Played this game for 4 hours straight last night and didn't even notice the time until I turned the game off and looked at the clock. Gears Tactics is also a good test for graphics card. I find Tactics and Gears 5 to be very demanding games. They also have the best ever settings menu and HDR calibration menu I have ever seen.

That is a hallmark of a good game IMO. That's encouraging. I'm interested whenever it comes to XB1.

Last night had 1 mission that lasted 2 hours. Best thing I like about this game is how powerful and effective over watch command is. That command really is a life saver. Also love the fact you have to find that balance of spreading your guys out to keep from clustering together, but not too spread out that one is left out on an island and end up being completely surrounded.
