Only seen a few bits of the trailers and know nothing of the story. I went in fairly blind with HZD and want to do the same here.

This is the second game in the series and is a continuation of the story. The first game is called Horizon: Zero Dawn. This, the sequel is called Horizon: Forbidden West.

You’ll want to play Zero Dawn first. I didn’t get into it the first time but am playing through again and I love it. It’s meant to be a slow burn though as others have commented on here. Don’t rush through and explore the environment.

I've put in a little over 3 hours so far. I'd say half of that time has been spent just looking at random things in the world. The little touches are just amazing. Jumping back in to the world of Horizon just feels right. The character models and animations already looked good in HZD but they've really stepped it up. Just watching some of the facial expressions during conversations and it's like watching a movie.

- It's probably my TV but so far I prefer the 60fps/1800p of performance mode over the 30fps/4K of resolution.
- I'll never get tired of a Lance Reddick performance he's perfect as Sylens
- I've read that the trophy descriptions might be a bit spoiler heavy, so you might want to avoid those.

Game is good looking, but definitely not in the top 5 of the best looking PS5 game. Game is slow paced so the 4K 30fps don't bother me.
