    The Movies

Has there been any recent updates/impressions or hands-on with this game? I haven't heard anything new since last Spring or Summer and I figured after Fable was released, we would hear some news on The Movies. Anybody know anything new?

This game is getting no media attention at all, only a few new screenshots every month. Knowing LionHead Studios this game will be delayed again and again.

I was looking forward to this game! I hope it comes out sometime soon or else I may just forget about it. I remember last year looking at their official site and the game looks GREAT. Too bad it's being delayed til kingdom come!

What exactly is this video game called 'The Movies'? What's the premise?

Think Sims but you are putting out a movie. You name it, hire actors, producers, etc and then make the movie, then release it. Looks like a really cool idea and could be a lot of fun.

I'm going to expand on this, because, well this part is even cooler. Not only will you be doing what ExtremeGamer described, you will be doing this from the first introduction of movies to the not-so distant future, which should span about 100 years. It's going to cool to start out with silent pictures, work your way up to the "red scare/alien movies" time frame, then the westerns, Star Wars, etc. Really sounds like a great, groundbreaking game.
