    E32005: Nintendo's Show

Interesting read although it's not a good sign when a 3rd party developer is already ignoring the system.

Matt also says they must show Mario 128 ..... does the public really want another Mario game? I remember before Nintendo released Gamecube they said the system was all about showing off new franchises and characters. I think they failed on that account.

I grew up playing NES (Blades of Steel, Tecmo Bowl, Duck Hunt, Double Dragon, Contra, etc....) so I find it kinda sad how far Nintendo has dropped off the gaming radar. I'm afraid they have a image problem they won't be able to overcome.

I predict Revolution will flop and it will be the companies last home console.

    Great article...

"Sony will come large with PlayStation 3, a console supposedly capable of displaying "Shrek 2-like" graphic quality, if you believe reports from the mainstream press -- incidentally, I don't."

I agree with Matt. I don't believe the press either "Shrek 2 like" graphic quality...:y4:. Sony is the master of hype.

I also agree Nintendo needs to be much more agressive, if they plan on staying in this. They need to pretty much blow people away, or it could be curtains for them.

I would want another Mario game if I still bought Nintendo products. MARIO WILL NEVER DIE!

Wow great article! I agree with everything that article had to say and Nintendo has to make a big splash at E3 for sure!

At first the Revolution will do bad then eventually like XBOX, will see the light then start having great games with good financial technique and stuff then Nintendo will come back in the spotlight. I think PS3 will be bad...

My Next Gen Console War Predictions:

                    1. Xbox 2
                    2. Nintendo Revolution
                    3. Playstation 3
Donovan McNabb will always be better than Ben Roethlisberger no matter what happens.

What I find strange is that they never mention Nintendo for any of these next gen games being announced.

While others (me included) are playing the next gen GTA's and Halos. Nintendo Revolution owners will have some gizmo attached to their head where they blink to make Mario jump.

Seriously, some of Nintendo's comments about they're next gen console are disturbing.

I don't understand why Nintendo is being tip lipped about all their products. You would think it's good to get the buzz going but I guess they don't believe in that philosphy. They've also said online gaming isn't big and they won't do it until they can turn a profit. But as a gamer I'd rather have the option of playing online then having the option to link up a GBA and GameCube.

Call me crazy but playing ESPN NHL 2k5 online is a lot better than unlocking extra madden cards from connectivity.
