Forbidden west was everything I think a sequel could be. There was one thing that disappointed me about the game just because it was something that fellt like a missed opportunity and that was lack of having underwater fights. Sonic I would say is the surprise hit game of 2022 easily the best 3s sonic game with the history of sonic 3d games being such trash didn't think a sonic 3d game could be this good. Boss fights are awesome and game reminds me of Zelda botw in a lot of ways. Was really happy we got a new old school style TMNT miss those kind of games. Gotham knights I got when it went on sale for like 40 or something but not super far into it. It's fun over all but man is the combat a big step down compared to the Arkham games and is way more of a button masher. I think it was a major mistake to not just use the free flow Arkham combat.
The biggest negative for me with HFW was the hit detection being off. I could be 5 meters away using the bow and arrow and nothing. Had several bugs and glitches throughout my playthrough. Aside from that, my biggest complaint though was that while you could climb more, it was still way too restrictive. After playing AC Origins/Odyssey/Valhalla and Immortals Fenyx Rising, open world games that involve climbing has to just let me do it from the start or at least, very early on by unlocking a skill or something. The lack of underwater combat would be second.

With that said, still an excellent game and im looking forward to The Burning Shores expansion.

I'm not into Sonic so can't comment on it. Gotham, I agree with you. It was fun in the beginning but by the 15 hour mark, I wanted to just complete it and move on. It shouldn't have been an action RPG because like Avengers, having loot in a super hero game makes no sense to me whatsoever.

The only real bug I had on HFW was one time when I fought the lock nest monster like machine I feel threw the floor and even after I like died it didn't fix it had to reload a file from about 1 minute before that part and than I was fine. I get you on the climbing Zelda BOTW and being able to climb ever where was a game changer and it drives me nuts now that I can't just climb ever where when I play other games. Immortals fenyxn rising I enjoyed a lot still need to beat all 3 dlcs lol. Hopefully Burning shores will add water fighting. I wonder how long the dlc will be and how much it will cost. Zero dawns dlc was great was better than the main game I thought and not sure how long it was but it didn't feel short and seemed pretty good for only costing 20 and the bear machine was my favorite machine in zero dawn.

I will try to get back to Gotham knights at some point I am pretty excited for suicide squad kill the justice league being it's by rocksteady and being Kevin's last time has Batman. I know we have seen little game play but the little we did looked fantastic. The issue may be that it and Zelda TOTK are so close to each other release wise being only like 2 weeks apart.

I think Burning Shores will be 20+ hours easily and cost $30+. I'm interested in Suicide Squad but have to see more gameplay.
