As much as I like a good open world game, I'm not opposed to a linear style game. As long as it is a great story and long enough story, I'm good with a linear game. I been stopped liking Assassin's Creed, but I preferred the linear style AC games as opposed to the open world AC games. Take what they did with the Mafia 1 remake with a quality story and attention to detail with good gameplay, and I'll be interested

Yeah. The Mafia 1 Remaster was amazing to me. The gunplay was a little floaty but everything else was perfect. The graphics were amazing. The world, the music, and the story were great as well. I didn't need to go into more interior places or do side missions. The story was enough. In a Mafia 4 I'd love that template in like the 70s or 80s.

I loved the look of the M1 remake, but wasn't a big fan of the changes they made to the map. Not the layout changes, but actual changes to old assets.

The old map had some magic to it that I loved. When I drove through the new map it was gone. I've watched some comparison videos and it confirmed what I thought. I wish they replaced old assets with newer ones that looked the same. I realize they used assets from their M3 engine, but it made everything different - and not for the better, in my opinion.

I want 70's-80's era mob run Vegas with a Casino style storyline. That's the ticket boys.
