I hate that I'm not getting this day one, but with the Witcher 3 release imminent, I just don't want to start GOW and then have to cut it short. The good thing is that I'll probably be able to get it cheaper. Just gotta avoid those spoilers!#LFC

That makes more sense, didn't think having a 120fps mode would have made sense for this type of game anyway.

Man I cannot wait. I am so glad they have the 40fps mode at launch for this game. They added that mode after release for Rachet, Spider-Man/Miles Morales and Horizon Forbidden West and I had already beaten all those games by the time they were patched. After trying the mode in each of them, that would have been my preferred method to play.
I have a CX OLED and I love that 120hz VRR 40fps mode!Comment

I hopefully should be getting the C1 in a couple days, so I'm excited to try it out. I do want to test the 4k40 versus the 1440/60. I know and feel the difference between 30fps and 60fps. But, I do want to see if 40fps isn't as much of a drop-off as 30fps.
I haven't played Miles Morales since I beat it when it came out. So if the C1 comes in a couple days, I'll try the 4k40 modeComment

Watched the DF performance video and skipped around to avoid spoilers. The high refresh rate mode stays around high 70s-80s(sometimes in low 90s)fps. I'm definitely going with that mode. I'm willing to sacrifice LODs and some resolution for FPS that high and consistentComment

Hands down this is the best looking game for PS5 this year. HDR look AMAZING in this game. Look like a next gen game. Still don't know why some companies can get HDR to look amazing and others have HDR look like BS.Comment

Yeah, this game certainly is living up to the hype.

I'm about 13 hours in and I agree with everyone else, this game is amazing. I love the pacing of the game. It's like a great book. I play for a few hours, doing side quests and all. I can about tell when a new beat is about to begin, so I take a break. There is a LOT going on but the game doesn't rush me and it allows me to digest everything.
