"With all of the talk of upcoming releases like Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and DOOM 3, it is little surprise that Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 slipped under the radar. That is, until today. Brothers in Arms is now the measuring stick for all war-themed FPS titles thanks to its amazing accuracy, fantastic storytelling, and dead-on presentation. Even with its flaws, there is no denying that this is an FPS that hardcore gamers have been waiting for. The genre has felt somewhat stale over the past year, but Gearbox proves that not all WWII games are created equal. The multiplayer mode is a refreshing change from the run-of-the-mill deathmatch and CTF modes we’ve become accustomed to, but still not for everyone. The single-player campaign is riveting from beginning to end. Ubisoft has yet another prized jewel to add to their collection."

Has anyone got theirs yet? Mine came in 2 hours ago, this a pretty good game so far, this is probably better than CoD.

I sure hope it's better. CoD for the consoles was simply Medal of Honor on steroids -- easy, linear and dull other than great atmosphere.

Yea it is so far it plays like MoH fused with FSW, it's a great game so far.

I hated FSW because I just wanted to fire when I wanted to. This seems more of a mix between FSW and call of duty which sounds great.

Mine's sitting next to me. I always said that if you could actually control your guys in FSW that it would have been a killer game. Even the first night, I was all over FSW for how good it played, then the was the same thing...over and over and over and over again. This sounds very cool and have been following it for a long time. Happy to see it's a mix of CoD and FSW, that's basically exactly what I was hoping to hear.

Yeah, that's exactly how it plays Moh/CoD with the tactical elements of FSW, (supression fire and move and shoot.) I've started on the easy mode just to get the hang of it but I think I'm going to restart the game on the harder levels just to get the full effect of the game.

I really don't know how else to praise this game. This is simply the best shooter I've ever played. I love the iron sights and their inaccuracies. The voice and graphics are among the best I've seen in a game ever, and both the Enemy and Ally AI are the best I've ever seen. I plan on rating this later in the week on my blog after I've had the chance to play some online multiplayer, but if I had to give it a rating right now, it would be 9.5/10. I've seen nothing so far that I didn't like. Loved the second or third mission where you have to get your fireteam to shoot the scarecrow.
